Current Projects

Film Series:

The Club is showcasing a series of documentaries on environmental issues that impact our daily lives - whether it’s on campus or off campus.

Campus Survey:

Club members will be surveying students, faculty and staff to assess the environmental knowledge, behaviors and attitude of the campus community.

Outreach & Participation:

Tabling during club hours, to further educate students about our “topic” issues.

Earth Day festivities in coordination with other student clubs. Participation in Greeenproofing’s Green Roof Symposium, the CUNY Sustainability Coalition's Sustainability Workshop, and the Environmental Consortium's Green Campus Summit.

Future Projects

Waste Stream Survey & Recycling Pilot Project:

Work with facilities to perform a waste stream survey of a selected building. Work together to set up recycling containers for mandated recyclables, and collect relevant data on quantities and types of materials collected. Work with facilities to perform a waste stream survey of a selected building. Once working effectively, we would seek to expand pilot to include all buildings on campus.
